D2 Creative
Evolving an agency’s brand, website, and marketing systems for long-term scalability.
-
D2 Creative is a digital agency specializing in healthcare, life sciences, and medical technology clients. As part of the in-house team, I led the visual and UI design efforts across D2’s internal marketing ecosystem, ensuring the agency’s brand, website, and materials reflected the level of work we delivered for clients.
My responsibilities included website UI design, brand guidelines, a social media design system, and long-form content design such as whitepapers and pitch decks.
-
D2’s website and internal marketing materials had not been refreshed since 2015. While the content was still relevant, the visual presentation felt outdated and no longer represented the agency’s capabilities or point of view.
Key challenges
Refresh the look and feel without rewriting core content
Simplify a dense site structure while preserving depth
Create a system that was easy to maintain and update internally
Reduce reliance on custom development for everyday changes
-
Create a timeless, modern visual identity that would age well
Design flexible templates for ongoing content updates
Improve clarity and flow across case studies and service pages
Establish consistent visual systems across web, social, and marketing materials
-
The redesign focused on clarity, structure, and consistency, allowing the work to speak for itself.
Website UI
Rebuilt the homepage and interior pages using a modular, section-based layout
Simplified case study presentation to support easy content additions
Emphasized large typography and whitespace for readability and hierarchy
Used gradients selectively to add depth and unify the brand
Design systems
Created brand guidelines to ensure consistent application across teams
Built a scalable social media template system for ongoing campaigns
Designed whitepapers, pitch decks, brochures, emails, and landing pages using shared visual patterns
This approach allowed the brand to feel cohesive across all touchpoints while remaining flexible for future needs.
-
The refreshed D2 site and internal design systems delivered a cleaner, more confident brand presence, without increasing technical overhead.
